Site-specific bioconstruction made with San José de Barreiro community.
Rural.Scapes residency, San Pablo, Brazil, 2014.
The installation is a bioconstruction that reproduces a termite’s nest, made of bricks that get energy of mud and organic wastes through Microbial Fuel Cells. The clean energy obtained, is used to switch on a small light inside the structure. It was built in a hill of the rural zone of São Paulo, Brazil as a sustainable and alternative way of living in balance with the environment.
